Some orchids on Amorgos

Today the sun shone for part of the day.  I went on two walks, the first around the left hand side of Katapola Bay.  I did not walk as far as I intended, as two dogs were chained (on long chains) outside the gate near the new sewage works.  They were barking loudly, and I was not as courageous as I perhaps should have been.  I saw several orchids (all the same type) on that walk. 

Then we caught the 2 pm bus (actually about 1.50 pm) to Chora.  Walking down, I saw three more types of orchid. Some of my photos are below.  But you can see much more at Orchids of Greece, with good photos (not photos taken, as mine were, as light was fading and in strong winds!)
