Eating at Katapola in winter

We had dinner last night at To Mouragi - I had red mullet (delicious) and Ken had beef stew (also delicious).  Today we had a giro pita at the Gorgona giro place.  Corner is also open, but usually in winter they only serve giro.

In England places selling giro often look a bit seedy.  I have never found a bad place serving giro in Greece.  Giro is the perfect fast food in Greece.

I have seen signs saying that Bitzentos is open this week, the week leading up to Carnival.

All the grocers are open as usual, so with a hot plate in the room there is always the option to eat in.  For lunch yesterday I cooked artichokes.

The Elihrisson bar is open, and the Akroyiali.  The door at Taverna Minos was open - the taverna was being decorated.
