Mmmmmmmmmmmmm - I must try the chickpea balls - I ate some delicious chick pea balls on the island of Serifos in Greece.  Keftedes, or fritters, can be excellent in Greece.  Freshly cooked they are delicious.  Occasionally they are cooked in advance, and microwaved - not so nice.

My favourites are made with courgette, feta and a few snippings of herbs.  At one favourite taverna they are as light as a feather.  I've tried making something similar, but they are nowhere near as good as those at one of my favourite tavernas.
