I usually spend a day or two in Athens after travelling from one of the islands to Athens.  Another attraction to look forward to.  I went to the Goulandros Art Gallery in Andros many years ago.

I travelled to Thimena (or Thymaina) many years ago when I was staying on Fourni.  I travelled on the local boat, but forget the name.  Then (and perhaps still) a very quiet island with no obvious places for tourists to stay.
